Don’t know if feasible, but thought it’d add fun if there were several (4? 6? 8?) different colors to map pieces! Off course, only the same colored pieces could go together to form a complete map … Could make the treasure hunting a bit harder, make it feels like you’re hunting the pieces of a real unique treasure, and also push toward trading between characters (as they’ll try to have a full specific colored map).
At first I even thought the colors could be associated with different levels of wealth treasures, but I quickly figured that in order to allow trading between characters it’d be way better if there was explicitly identical wealth potential whatever the color of the map.
