Hello! I just came back after a long absence, and have been playing Raphael de'Athkatla. I thought I would start to throw out a few Kudos based on things that have occurred since I arrived. I might miss a few people, things have been quite busy since my return.
The Bramble Watch:
Warden Bheliqoize: Raphael's partner in crime, and polar opposite. Thank you for convincing me to come back, and hashing out the Heralds of Ghuanadaur plotline together. We have such lovely things in mind for everything.
Nikki: Nikki has been a surprisingly resilient and quietly terrifying follower of Illmater. I'm looking forward to seeing just what surprises she has left and just how her plots of vengeance and disruption will unfold.
Card: I was not expecting to get along with a Sunite Paladin, but I am glad I talked to you both about the Bramble Watch and about the holy work. Hopefully we will get more of a chance to interact over the coming weeks.
Richard: I'm watching you.
Nature People:
The Raven: I was expecting to be contacted by nice and friendly druids. I was not expecting to be contacted by you, and especially so quickly. For half of that conversation, Raphael thought he was going to get murdered, and that it probably wouldn't be quick. He tried to bluff and smile his way out of it... and it might have worked? At least temporarily?
Thorun Silverbeard: At first I thought this was going to be a "You damn kids get off my lawn" moment, but no, your objections were far more grounded and dangerous for us. I think future contact is going to be quite tense. I love how when I accidentally hit Curse Song, everybody thought I was dying horribly and ran to the rescue while we were just talking.
Orion: You weren't what I expected based on your reputation or your posts, and it was good to get caught up on everything that has happened. The most shocking bit was seeing how in certain areas our Dogma and ideas almost seemed to line up.
Maggie: Druid debates are fun debates. I'm looking forward to throwing more crazy hypotheticals at you.
Cordor Peoples:
Commander Sinclair: I don't know if you expected this can of worms when you spoke with us. At the very least I hope it has been an enjoyable ride for you. Also, as a former Guard, I was impressed with your guard rp that I've seen so far. Hopefully this whole mess will pay off in one way or another.
Bloodletter: There is something that doesn't quite fit about you, and Raphael is dying in trying to find out just what it is. Of course you being a talented flirt doesn't hurt.

Lightning Singed Kudos!
Mayor Sully: That conversation was going oh so well, but perhaps was a bit too blasphemous, when then, out of nowhere bam! Raphael goes down. The roleplay after with his recovery and near death was pretty amazing, although he occasionally comes back to the curious memory of you casting elemental protection spells not long before the lightning strike.
The Leper: So very helpful, but so very odd. And it seems that your aid comes with a very strange price. Just what else do you have in your large collection of rings? And so many interesting people seem to come from the same place.
Andariel Bloodletter: Oh the rift you caused with that helpful act. Will things ever be the same for our two heroes?
Bheliqoize: One of the most fun rp arguments I have ever had. I am looking forward to seeing just where this goes, and how much we might hurt each other out of care and concern.
Rick: I enjoyed your reaction to Raphael's blasphemy, which was perhaps a bit more shocking to him, as he never actually intended to offend you.

Kudos back! The ongoing presence of Raphael and Bheliqoize is likely the reason that Nikki isn't lying in the city in several fun-sized chunks. You've got a remarkable way with words, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing how this plot develops - and just what's really going on with the Rangers of the Bramble Watch.
Also, what 's this I hear about a lightening strike?

May you live in interesting times.

Orion's rep was mostly created by others who have had very little actual interaction with him... though I try to play up his negative Charisma modifier, which often perpetuates the negative rep.

I've loved meeting Bheliquoize and Raphael. I look forwards to further interactions!
