I got tired of being on the surface so i came and woke up my zealot of a drow who does everything for his queen.
in the past month, i have seen the UD playerbase go from little groups all trying to convince themselves they are in power, to two dominant sides kept at bay due to of all things politics.
The Drow have unified, and thought still some inter house squabbles mostly are on the same page. The Temple of Lloth is on top( as it always should be in my chars mindset)
In the other corner, you have the lessers to an extent. A human exile and her dragony pets, claim to be supreme.
All in All I give Kudos to all those of the Underdark, both new and old, and we have quite a few new faces who have gotten tossed right into the fire on their first days.
The players are awesome!, although some of the chars I would love to peel the flesh from bone and make them scream.

I could not agree more. I have not played in the UD for several years now (before teh Cataclysm) and Im glad to return. The players are great adn Im meeting a lot of folk whom Ive not had the chance to play with on my banites. SO far its been great fun.

Agreed. The UD is a great growing ground for unique creativity, allowing one to explore RP niches that wouldn't be applicable elsewhere. Its a little violent at times, but hey. Wouldn't be the Underdark if it wasn't, and if anything, makes one appreciate the moments of relative calm even more, whereas they'd otherwise be taken for granted. I like it.

The Underworld is buzzing with life. Players experimenting a lot, and a setting that allows it, etc. I like it! I always liked the Underdark, but now more than ever ...

I have to disagree completely!
