Below are some suggestions to make lore focus something more than just understanding languages and identifying items, and to be close to what it is in PnP.
-investigate_region: the character collects information about the "area group" it's in. The amount of information depends on skill rank (Legend Lore counts for this purpose, as in paper).
-Spawns in the region
---Their races
---Some of their properties (damage resistance, vulnerability, immunities and such ~collected from their hides)
---Their Damage Type
---Special attacks and/or spells
-investigate_city: the character collects information about the "area group" it's in. The amount of information depends on skill rank (Legend Lore counts for this purpose, as in paper).
-PC names in the City's Faction's rankings. The higher the ranking and level, easier to be known.
---Member numbers in factions
-The City's state (neutral, at war and with who, taxes and such)
-Shops and guilds arround the city and their locations (even shady shops if any)
-investigate_target: the command activates a "targeting" cursor and the character collects information about what it clicked at.
-If it's an item, it may show where it's sold or dropped. It may also detect who held the item in the past (great for RP items!)
-If it's a creature, it may drawn informations of some of it's properties and regions it may dwells.
-If it's an resource, it may list places in X area distance where it can be found (the higher the skill, longer the distance it).
