So here's the thing... There are at some point that you are considering a permadeath in a death instance. But then there comes a dilemma... If you perma-die now, you won't be able to know what happened to the story. While you have concluded your own story, there's that feeling of wanting to know what happened afterwards. What was the effect of your death? What were the people's reaction when you died on the spot. It's like yeah... that's the ending, your death. But you don't see the outcome of it.
So here comes a suggestion. Perhaps we can make a spectre mode that is only available for an RL week, just to see what were the effects of your character's death. Maybe add an option to the grimreaper at the fugue plane for this. Here's the catch:
1. You won't be seen by anyone. Just like a DM in super stealth mode without the DM powers ofcourse.
2. You cannot speak or interact in any way possible with Arelith Realm.
3. Once that one RL week is done, your spectre character is gone... perma deleted.
Possible exploits:
1. Well... once in this state, you can pretty much see everything on Arelith. But its your loss anyway since you are ruining the suspense for yourself.
2. Can gain OOC knowledge that could affect your next character. But bias is a bit relative, and it affects people differently.

Re: Spectre Mode!
Better off just going Obi Wan Kenobi and existing in the Death Area only as a ghostly figure. Have friends take screenshot albums if you need to know how they reacted.
I don't like the idea of player spectres running around.
