The Death of Sonriath

Post by CoastalSurf »

Was away for a year or so. Came back. Played an elf. Saw a good reason to let him go. Honestly, that's pretty typical for me.

What wasn't typical was the fact that after all these years on this server I got to interact with players I hadn't before, and get a new perspective on those who I had.

I'm immensely thankful that this server still exists.

Want to say thank you as well to the various characters Sonriath ran in to, you all reminded me why I love Arelith. If I named you, it would be gloating, cuz...you folk are the best.

To the Wharftown Folk: Thank you so much for actually making a war seem real here. There was a time I was jaded about such things....thought it was basically a smattering of PvP between long established characters and long winded meetings. It was so refreshing to just see a war party about causing chaos.

Special Thanks to Ann Thrule for being patient OOC and Thanks to Roland and....well, not sure of this character is openly aligned yet, so...that other character...for just doing what their characters would do normally, and having some faith I'd do the same.

There are a few others I need to give a special nod to, but will do that when I come up with a new concept.

What!

What!?

What.

I think it is the first time you permakill a character before I do.

Now I know how it feels.

I enjoyed every single interaction between Sonriath and Borin.

Well done Ish.

Oh gosh, Ollie is going to cry for the next decade. : ( Sonriath was the best. A truly dedicated elf that didn't care about the status quo and only wanted to do what was best. A rolemodel for all young elves!

I come back to the server and return to elven domain, and this happens (should have expected Sonriath to die soon, honestly). Kudos for our interactions, as brief as they were!

*Flails as she runs about in paniced circles*
Didn't mean to kill him honest!
Really though it's very rare to find someone who takes capture RP seriously, especially since it was on the tail end of playing with the new lasso mechanics. Thanks for the RP.

Bastard, who's gonna help me collect Zinc now? *Mutters*

Well, makes for some good rp and always surprisingly nice when someone decides to perma death a character at a time unexpected. Was good fun rping with you, hope to see you around with your next creation. Kudos!
