Lowbie Areas for other settlements

Post by Tashalar »

We've established over the years that Cordor usually remains the place where lowbies gather and swarm until they reach levels where they can handle the rest of the island. But what if we had lowbie areas placed near each major settlement?
It would encourage lowbies to settle in other towns and settlements rather than sticking to Cordor like glue until they are strong enough to foray out into the world - and have usually made an attachment to Cordor already, which means they are often reluctant to relocate, and this makes other settlements relatively dead.

For example,
- Lowbie-capability forest monsters near Myon & The Grove somewhere - perhaps in a small cavern;
- Weak water creatures on the entrance area to the east of Wharftown (on the coast), and something akin to more wolves and less bandits right outside Wharftown's gates (on either side);
- Guldorand, maybe have miner goblins/kobolds break a new entrance into the town/outskirts nearby, so that lowbies can work on quelling them. The fact that Guldorand is easily-reachable by boat now from Cordor (with a few ship jumps) helps this!
- Bendir already has the Bendir Hills with the goblins and such.
- Brogendenstein already has the Xvarts and the Bats in the caverns down below by the beach (I think) - no idea if they're level-appropriate for lowbies.
- Sibayad, lowbie-capability monsters in a cavern system that opens up, perhaps, somewhere in the Outskirts?
