The Faerieluck

Post by Emotionaloverload »

My elf never takes a break but super special religious/community events are the exception and I'm glad they are. I had a /blast/ at the Faerieluck. Big thanks to everyone that help prepare the boy for the last IG year and to everyone that showed up.

Kudos to:
The Wandering Spirit
Satyr
Pixie
Dire Pixie
Treant
The Grumpy Treant
Fey Queen
Seelie Court Guard
A Lady Fey
Prince of the Nixies
Delightfully Decadent Dryad
And Buppi, Dazza, Variis, Mithrim and all those that passed by and stayed to watch.

If I'm missing anyone, sorry! It was crazy (as a fey day is meant to be, I guess) and I didn't expect a turn out of this size.

<3!

Thanks to everyone that showed up. You all played a great part from grumpy (looking at you Treant... er, other other Treant), to funny, to flirty and many points in between.

Kudos to Oli for using his hidden (they are buried deep, like treasure) charms on Giogi to lure him to another elfy festival.

*bows to the Queen* An extra thanks to our Fey Queen for steering things along.

And a toast to the Satyr for steering things wherever he wanted!
Namil: "He has this effect on young females."

Oliver: "He appreciates comedy." *He utters softly, in a near apologetic tone on Giogi's behalf.*

That was a lot of fun! Damn all of the elves and half elves and hin for forcing the lone human "satyr" to drink to excess and play his pan pipes...poorly. And dance...poorly.

But it was a great group and very imaginative and well done! Ollie the Treant was in fact a stump though ;)

Thank you all so much for allowing my little Dire Pixie to tag along.

It was a blast and I really enjoyed all the elfy lessons participating in an awesome faerie party. :D

I love "people watching" and this event was a blast to watch and participate in.

Massive kudos to Oli and Giogi for pulling it off.

Kudos to all who participated, and I had fun settling into my usual role of event manager, and I hope everyone else had fun too.

Extra kudos for Oliver for...socialising (!) and dancing (!!). Kudos to the Satyr as well, Brendon really let himself go. Andy is delightfully flirty as always, and Elenya was positively scandalous.

Honorable mention to Nicodemus for throwing up everywhere and managing to stab someone at the party.

It was fun to watch, though I half expected some Drow to come up and fireball/icestorm the entire thing just for the lolz.

Really enjoyable event, thanks for that, guys! (though yes, the only thing that could have made it better was a surprise drow raid, muhaha!)

OMG...worst misclick everah! Was clicking to move ol' Nic and of course instead selected attack on another party guest. Yeash...

Thanks again to playername Manticore (not sure the characters name, was "Lady Fey" I think) for rolling with my flub when I knocked her out.

Again, it's a credit to those players around that can take a bug, misclick, whathave you and still manage to spin into rp gold and carry on with the storytelling!

No worries at all! I'll admit there was a moment of disbelief before I figured out how to spin it, but I've been on the other side of that before so I tried to make it work within the RP. Luckily, everyone went along with my "oh gods I drank too much and passed out" scheme.
