#Mebrexit

Post by Rorin1979 »

(Yes, I came up with that all by myself. I guess I half-hour commute is good for something after all. It may be corny, but you looked.)
With very little fanfare and announcement Mebrith Xun'viir, thief and flagellant of La'laskra left Andunor to roam the dark in her final days. Mebrith's always been a ghost and maybe its just fitting for her to just fade away.

It's been a long strange ride to once again meet with a great group of Roleplayers and work to shape the present and future of RP. I've been blessed a second time to see the player base do the "Impossible ", and I'm just awed at how the player base works together. I'm not done playing on Arelith or contributing to the Revolution so stay tuned.

So anyway the incredibly long and woefully incomplete list of people who make life worth living.

The Matrons: Vasarra (Skibbles), Rith (Theresa), Sinithra (Durvyas), and Talyrrae (CrimsonThorns). Every worker needs a good cause, and It was always a pleasure to be a part of your schemes. I'm especially thankful for Meb and Taly's little impromptu farewell. It was a rare moment of gooeyness in a harsh and unforgiving Dark.

The lovers: You know who you are.

The opposition: Katrina and the Virasans, Katarra and Spiders, Zestra, the killian, etc. La'laskrans see life as pain and conflict, without you we would not reach our full potential. Thank you for working against us to make Arelith and better place for Traditionalists and Revolutionaries alike.

The Fellow Laborers: Again you know who you are. It might just be better to say that then let someone out We did it! We shaped RP by our wits and we had a wonderful time doing it. I look forward to seeing you all in the future.

Aw...I felt like there could have been something more to the like two interactions we ever had. Could have been interesting business partners...ah well. Mebrith seemed cool. An actual shame I didn't get to see more of her.

Mebrith was a staple of the UD, it's sad to see her go. Whatever you do next, rorin, I know it'll be awesome.

Ah always sad to see a known face go, but if it was about that time then so be it :)

To me Mebrith was still one of the younger, fresh characters. Nice to see she turned into a gruff, experienced and perhaps somewhat jaded (meant in the best way possible!) warrior who's seen just a bit too much.
