DM Wish

Post by Devil Dog »

Yesterday, or Friday night rather, three of us set out for a little undead trip. The two I was taking had never been there before, or not very far in. But along the way as we hit the crags and killed off some wyverns and druids and ogres and giants only to see a large war party of ogres and giants marching over the bridge.... it was an awesome site and since y wife was playing the female with us, I looked over at her here at home and told her this is DM ran. She was very excited as she had never been involved first hand with a DM like that. She nearly shot the lone ogre that was running to catch up with the now dead ones but I told her no no, this is where we rp. And though I did most of the talking, she thought it was awesome and had a great time. I do believe she sent a message via DM channel as well.

But yes, it was a lot of fun letting us fool them, letting him think we were also giants that drank potions of shrinking, lol.

Thanks for the fun and keep up the awesome DM'ing.

Big kudos/respect from me as well for the other day when the said DM took control of the archer duergar and made the otherwise boring daily grinding adventure rather interesting.

Likewise! I was also doing some solo grinding (ew), and DM Wish decided to make it something memorable.

Though that poor little fire mephit died in the end. I was sad. But looted its body all the same.

I'm really excited about the eagerness the new DMs are showing, and hope their energy will endure. The big events are either very hard to catch, or very awkward to play in, with a large amount of players all wanting to have their input. So these small events can be really fun in comparison. Not everything has to have far-reaching consequences, and these little things really make the daily experience more enjoyable.

I'll sneak in though I shouldn't just to say that the new wave of DMs dropping hints and quests is awesome, even though I have only -heard- about it. So, so excited!
