lodi

Post by No night, no golden sun »

hello. In this thread I will be detailing some of the players I think deserve especial knowledge of how much I enjoyed playing with them, as I'm rather bad about forgetting to send tells and such.

Ardultana: The whole reason I made a pale master, instead of just mumbling about how cool I thought they were. Her ''guidance'' (corruption) was a rather significant influence on the elf's actions. Not to mention those long hours of Surgery... what fun that was.
Her interactions with Lodi aside, I'd like to mention how well written and played this character on the whole is. A clear presence of power, superiority is displayed without gaudy shows. It's subtle - she doesn't have to hellball you to prove it. Thanks, from Subject Five.

Heinrich Weyer: The neurotic mage. I watched him develop, from shifty cube-popping Tower mage, to a Winter Court Knight. Who still pops cubes, albeit improved ones. It was a great deal of fun aiding in insane, murderous plots he'd come up with.

Vivian LaChaunce (among other names): Dear Vivian. By far, the greatest Fey pact warlock I've ever seen. The writing, both in RP, and on fixtures and items, blows me away at how great it was. I'm happy to have taken part in it all.

Relia Danlenocelle: The favoured. I had actually planned to roll or shelf Lodi fairly early on, and it's because of this player's words that I didn't. The relationship between the two was always fairly ambiguous. Possessive, maybe a little abusive. At times sweet, and kind. I hoped she liked the rice.

Ilmryn: The tentative. At the risk of Major Spoilers, I won't share what exactly transpired to make me put this down. But he knows, and I know, and we both know it was pretty damn cool.

Malak al Abrash: The masked Sunite was always a puzzle I wanted to solve, but never ended up doing so. The line about being 'loveless' will always blow me away. Easily one of the best, perhaps The best, paladin I've ever interacted with.

Amadeo Pneuma: An incredibly neat character, and one I never expected to have any sort of relationship barring the hostile with, much less the odd sort of respect Lodi had for the man. Also, damn, those clothes are stylish.

Vance Gravelle: He took a faith that's incredibly difficult to play, much less play well, and played it brilliantly. Respect, forever. The calm manner that Vance usually carries himself with is only a thin veil for the complete madness underneath, and you displayed it magnificently.

Aeriel: For such a new player (as far as I know), Aeriel has consistently displayed OOC kindness and a willingness to involve herself in conflict. I'm really impressed with her behaviour.

While I feel like I'm a little late in typing this, I nonetheless do feel the need to express my appreciation for how great of a character Lodi was. Hands down the most well-roleplayed palemaster I've seen in my time on the server, in terms of the process of coping with the changes of each step of surgery, the philosophical implications of such, and lastly the conduct in how he chose to use his aquired traits. Ofcourse I'm biased in saying that, as someone who had the privilege of being present for the ride.

Nonetheless, a very, very unique character, with many memorable moments of RP despite his brief stay.

Looking forward to future projects of yours.
