Blessed Druidic Sickle
Soo.. I just logged on after a couple days of not playing and I see that there are lots of updates! Kudo's to the dev team for doing all that, looks awesome.
After I saw the updates, I started to look through the things that were put in and came accross the blessed druidic sickle and immediately ...

Bring back the Druidic language
I'm fairly certain that the druidic language existed at one point and was removed and replaced with the animal language. But... honestly its not the same. It would be nice if druid's and ranger's also had the ability to speak druidic to each other.

Re: Arelith - Hak Server
I agree with both Iceborn and Sceptical Platypus on the matter. In my opinion, a wizard is a thinking person's spellcaster and without knowing exactly what ends and odds do exactly what it can be very difficult to do what a wizard needs to be able to do.

I think that animals should be able to speak common! My character kind of revolves around this concept. There's already a massive forum post arguing about this.

Re: -Arelith New Player Handbook-
Just a suggestion for something to put in the Handbook. It would be pretty cool if you added some very basic FR lore to the book such as:
Arelith is west of Faerun and exists in the world of Toril
The material plane that Toril exists in is the Prime material plane
The other continents of Toril and ...

Is calling a spell by its name IG... metagaming?
The thought just occurred to me: "Does calling a spell by its name in-character sound weird?"
I mean, lets take for example: "Greater Magic Weapon"
For one, it sounds more like a noun than anything. Almost as if you're referring to a weapon that is more magical than other magical weapons. Not a ...

On the topic of games in Arelith, Symphony and I were talking about blackjack or some sort of gambling game in Arelith. I've made a blackjack game before in C for a class, it didn't have an interface though.

Re: Arelith Economy/Crafting/Enchanting/Looting
I have an idea that may help the gold sink chug along, and perhaps help the inflation of gold in Arelith alot. It's quite clean and simple. Everyone knows that pesky "little" debuff you get when you respawn?
Why not allow some sort of priest/cleric/altar mechanic allow one to remove said debuff ...

Druid staff visuals are bugged
I just made a druidic staff for someone and wanted to see how it can look different. Some of the visuals for the different looks are bugged so that the staff is discontinuous and looks broken.

My last contribution to this thread until I go testing for myself is to respond to the sentiment of why I'm so persistent in my objection to the nature of this thread.
It goes something like this. At level 18+, your character is a major power to be reckoned with in the world, and so is anything ...

Re: Are character descriptions hidden when disguised?
Having a 'fixed' description tagged for certain -disguise names would be awesome, sure. but it's not really needed and if it would take a lot of dev time to code, doesn't worth it. Don't be lazy :D

Does Dragonshape let you transform infinite times a day?
So essentially, all I want to know is if dragonshape lets you change like a totem druid's polymorph. Can you go back and forth between forms, or is it a once per day thing?

Ok Yellowcateyes, I really do understand where you're coming from. But alot of people simply aren't going to think to do that. Ok, so all the arguments against a QoL change is, lets not have a QoL change. Lets just do it the hard way, and hope noone metagames if we dont. WHY????

Wait wait wait, couldn't it just be tagged to the disguise then? What I'm saying is that couldn't the description for the character that you're disguising into be saved with that disguise. Honestly, if it you could save certain disguises with the name and description and be able to select them when ...

So this topic came up while discussing meta gaming in Arelith with a friend. I don't think it does hide it, but I'm not 100% sure. Does anyone know?
