I've experienced insane amounts of lag the past week, and it's not limited to me, other players felt it too. I only just got back from a long hiatus so Idk what's happening. But the lag is really, really bad, even in low pop servers.
check all drivers since the new year brought about updates for some vendors and dont forget to reboot your computer at least once a week, the game may not tax resources much but other programs can slow things waaaaayyy down

This is a server side connection issue, not something drivers would affect.

You're right. Participating in the forums was a mistake. Won't do this again.

The lag has been bad enough of late that I often find myself taking parties to lower level dungeons than would normally be appropriate so that a lag spike doesn't result in a party wipe. Its less exciting, but its the only real option besides not adventuring at all.

Do you recall a specific time range? Some (But unlikely all) server lag is a result of larger DM Events occurring over the last few days.
Generally between 3PM and 10PM EST has been the worst of it for the last couple of weeks, with a smattering of outright server crashes.

6-8 am, 12-4PM, 8-10PM (All EST). Its bad and often. I assumed we were just being enhanced.
I found the lag two days ago to be so unbearable it wasn't even worth playing. It's constant enough that I'm going to guess it's NOT related to DM events. The times EmotionalOverloaded posted seem to be pretty accurate.
Currently getting some bad lag on Distant Shores. Combat continues through lag as if the server box itself isn't experiencing it, but all players connected are.
The lag is perpetual and oftentimes leads to the server being borderline unplayable. It needs fixed ASAP; I've noticed that the problem begun after the fix for the 1:30/9:30 "backup" crashes. I would imagine that it's related.

It’s unrelated.

Been having extraordinary lag across all servers during the last three weeks (including today). My online time usually lies between 20:00 and 23:00 GMT+1.
This is a plea. Please. This lag is immense and almost unplayable & I am hopeful there is some solution. At the moment, a large part of my joy in playing Arelith - being tactical and maneuvering in battle - is lost due to the lag that has consistently affected us. I hate being reduced to clicking and praying my character survives the 1-6 second lag delay.
I know this isn't really fair to C&P or rp (I don't know what it is like in the UD but Cordor is the worst) but if you are struggling there, try surface. I will only get two or three hour long bouts of lag on surface while in Cordor, even inside a house with very little fixtures or lights, there is at minimum 3 seconds of delay (and goes as high as 13) ALL the time.
Made a forum account just to put my two cents in, the lag (note different from fps drops) has been terrible for both me and my friend who play together in the evenings EST (GMT+5). This on top of the usual memory leak crashes and server transition log outs makes it fairly frustrating to play.
