Feeblemind not stunning
Today I (24 arcane caster level sorc) noticed whenever casting feeblemind, a stun was never applied regardless of target type or failing to save the roll. I tested the spell on multiple targets including ogres, wolves and bugbears - all low intel/cha creatures. There were zero stuns applied during testing of 20 or so npcs.
Re: Feeblemind not stunning
I’ve had one occurrence of this spell functioning properly after many casts. All other casts have resulted in no stub still.

As stated by the spell description:
You'd have to basically get their INT to 3, which is the NWN minimum for the stun to apply. You get 6d4 INT damage with your caster which ranges from 6-24 INT damage one would think from all your testing some creature would get stunned. Try and Maximzie the spell and cast it on goblins and ogres to see if you get the stun that way.The caster does 1d4 points of Intelligence and Charisma damage to the creature for every 4 caster levels.
The target is stunned for 1 Round / Level if their Intelligence drops below 4. Additionally if the target has an Arcane Class the DC is increased by 4.

Hi!
Just to clarify, I have been using normal, max and extend on these spells. It used to work almost all the time, but since I picked up my caster again I’ve noticed in the last month or two it is not stunning at all. I’m confident either the spell is not working or perhaps my character was borked in the free relevel?

Re: Feeblemind not stunning
Further testing has shown me that the stun -is- applying to animal creatures, but apparently not to all other races.

I've also tested feeblemind on the Dire Wolf summons, which is also stunned after the stat reduction. I'm not sure why the stun would differentiate between species, but animals are definitely still affected.

Couldnt find anything wrong with the spell but I did a small tweak which may have an impact, should be live within 12h from me posting this.

Thanks for looking into this. Unfortunately, it still doesn't seem to be stunning most creatures. What I have noticed is that it works on most animals, which I suspect have a base intel of 3 already and are immediately stunned. As seen in this dire wolf..

Here is an example below of the stun not operating on a creature with both intel and cha lowered to 3.

Re: Feeblemind not stunning
Just noticed this and maybe its fixed, but the reason it probably works on animals is that they have a starting intelligence of 3. So my further guess why the spell only functions on them would be that it is not correctly reading the lowered stat...only the base stat?
*Edit. Ha! Typing at the same time. Great minds...

Re: Feeblemind not stunning
Please try again after next reset or maybe its live already. To confirm it works on creatures it did not work on previously.
Re: Feeblemind not stunning
It seems to be working as normal again now. Thanks for solving this!
