That's not what objective evidence means. Objective evidence would be pointing at a snippet of code in the loot tables showing exactly why and how something is wrong. This is subjective evidence as expressed by some players based on what they feel is wrong, as evidenced by other players stepping up with their own subjective evidence pointing to the contrary.Pala wrote: Fri Dec 04, 2020 4:54 amConfirmation bias is definitely not an answer, but thanks for your input.
Re: higher player counts, to reiterate: I check chests at non-peak times. For example, yesterday, I checked two chests, across two different servers. On one, the player count was literally 3 people (actual number, and had been around that for the last two or so hours), including myself. The other had around 15~. Both chests were, once again, empty.
Just to be completely clear, again: I'm not saying there is a definite bug/issue/non-public change. However, there is clear, objective evidence (whether you agree with that evidence or not) from multiple accounts, that there could be, and that we have felt a tangible change with runic loot recently. Just because you may disagree, or have experienced differently, does not mean there isn't a case for our claims.
It would be somewhat more objective if someone would say, lock down a dungeon and run it every 12 minutes while making sure no one else runs it to check if loot respawns on time.
Yes, I have been in that situation before when I've been doing rune grinds at least once a day before, having several weeks of dry spells, and sometimes getting lucky 4 times in a row. The larger the population becomes the harder it has been to get hands on a dungeon that's not on cooldown, the reason being that the rune chests have a significantly longer respawn time than regular chests.Out of curiosity, to any of you having answered contrary to the original points, could you please address this specific example. I know someone who hasn't seen loot from runic chests in a month, checking them everyday. Do you think that's normal, or could simply be considered bad luck?
If you do, then you have almost certainly never hunted runic chests consistently on a day-to-day basis.
Meaning even if you do go only during off-hours, it just takes one person looting sometime in the hour before you to lock you out of a rune on your run.
