Ever since the time change (which is amazing by the way!), the weather has been completely out of sync. It continues to snow all year around, even in Kythorn, which is the June equivalent month of FR. Unless you're on Skal, it shouldn't be snowing in the temperate parts of Arelith this time of the year.
Before the time change, the game was very good at respecting the seasons, with odd weather being at a minimum. Will weather patterns corresponding with the date return one day? =)

Honestly, geographically, the weather on Arelith should be analagous to the Azores - the islands are both roughly where they ought to be to be the Azores stand-in for NOT EUROPE and they serve the same function for NOT EUROPE that the Azores did for ACTUAL EUROPE.
idk, a wizard did it or something, thoramind loves snow
