This is our current Cave Bear (Young):

This is World of Warcraft, druid's bear form:

A bunch of the models we have come from the wider NWN community and I was wondering since we have some things that are more or less ripped from other games, can we do the same for more aesthetic clothing options? There are many options for female characters that have gone in but far less for male characters. A lot of them are already made and in various packs on the NWN Vault in some form or another.
What are the standards required for us to use models in Arelith content?
When haks were first introduced to Arelith, after it had existed since its inception as the "easy access no hak server" (changing because of the NWN:EE downloader making haks easier to add), it was stipulated that hak additions like new models would be a very light touch, carefully curated to avoid anything terribly disruptive being added.
My personal sentiment is that a lot of the models that we've gained look very...mismatched to the base game. Whether they be new heads, clothing options, or monster models. I am a big fan of many of the new additions, but there are definitely quite a few like this bear that seem to have slipped through the cracks and are always very jarring and disruptive to immersion when seen.
If more things get added, I'm hopeful that they are given a little more review. Whether or not a model is disruptive to the setting, I think there should be some consideration as to whether it looks particularly strange or out of place next to the rest of the game's models.
