There are hundreds of people I could name and thank, and I am sure most of them know exactly how I feel. I always feel awkward with kudos, as it's impossible for me to get to everyone, as no matter how big or small, all of you have contributed to the last nearly two years of roleplay, and even beyond, given how old of a character Akorae is.
In the end, it has been a long time, and I need a break from her. I debated whether to say this or not, but through playing such a prominent character, my health has taken the turn for the worse. This is not the first time it has happened, and though I hope it will be the last, the fact of the matter is that the more one puts into the game, the more it affects them, for better and for worse.
For the most part, it has been for the better, and while I have not decided whether this is a goodbye to Akorae forever, it shall certainly be lengthy.
That being said.
Thank you to the Iratyva Trade Guild, all of Akorae's family. All those of you who, ingame and out, from a ragtag group pulled together by two simple concepts "coin and freedom", became true friends. All of you players who helped each other through the game, supported each other when an understandably difficult reality became tough. You are wonderful, beautiful, people, and I am proud to have been able to bring you together. I look forward to seeing from afar what you continue on without me.
Thank you to the friends and allies, to the enemies, the rivals, to all the new characters and players I got to meet and play with, and the old. To everyone willing to debate ideology, philosophy, to everyone who was happy to pay an extra ten thousand for a custom description, to those tireless writworkers willing to offload thousands of herbs onto me. To the sailors, the merchants of Andunor, to those who were part of the underground information networks, to those who hung out in Shadovar Trade Post to talk to others, to everyone who were both willing and unwilling to deal with a drow. To those of the Vhaeraunan faith, to the cyricists, the oghmanytes. To all those Imaskari whom I paid hundreds of thousands of gold for dragon blood. To every incessant nerd of the Arcanum, both magical and mundane, for all those wonderful lessons, projects, and lectures. To everyone who has written an ingame book, both factual and fiction. To the people I roleplay with a few times that completely changed my character's life and then I never saw them again.
There's so many and more. Thank you, all.
Fortune favor.
