A way of putting your weapons away without having to stash them in your inventory

Far too often I find myself with a fullish inventory and for RP reasons I have to put away my weapon but I can't.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a way to make your weapons disappear or sheathe without having to take up the inventory space?

I feel like this is a personal problem which doesn't require yet another complicated and buggy mechanic to fix.

I recently dropped a keen, masterly damask sword in the middle of PvP because of this.

I feel like this situation is managable without any mechanics,all you have is be sure to always have space for your weapons in the inventory.

Inventory limit is a thing so it makes sense you need to worry about that,making weapons and shields be sheathed without going to the imventory could not only make bugs happen where the weapons simply might stop existing but it would also take two important and big items from your worry about inventory management,it would be the same thing as asking armor to not have weight imho

We can (and do!) pester the Beamdog forums about more inventory space and better inventory management =)

I suggest posting there and letting your voice be heard.

This feels like a bad workaround. You want your character to be mechanically holding a weapon in their weapon slot, but not visually appear to be holding a weapon? Either that's going to create a mess of bugs with attack animations, or alternately, be exploited the hell out of as everyone suddenly appears to be unarmed all the time while secretly holding MDKeen Greatswords and or Longbows.
