Spellsword imbue doesnt expire

It refuses to expire, even when resting multiple times, armed/unarmed, making it impossible to cast GMW on the weapon. The weapon is quarterstaff.

This tends to happen if you cross servers with an imbued weapon or log off and back on with an imbued weapon. However, it does still expire after 24 RL hours.

Re-apply your imbue and then rest and it should go away. =)

I've noticed that wielding the weapon while resting is the most consistent way to dispel.

This, or simply putting it in the bartering window without actually trading it away. Putting it in the bartering window dispels it, and it even tells you that the imbuement dies away. This does require a second player though - and even then they might look at you funny every time you show off your weapon to them.
